DESIGN PROCESS

A well-rounded approach to your creative project, tailored to your needs.

Great design isn't just about imagination, innovation, and creativity. It also involves listening, clear communication, and processes.

Ultimately though, telling a visual story effectively is more than creating appealing 2D or 3D spaces. It's about understanding the purpose of the story, and the people behind that purpose.

DESIGN PATH

I identify as a pragmatic creative.

I've always known two things about myself: Thoughtfully designed spaces and objects help me better interact with the ebbs and flows of life. And I need to keep things organized so I can navigate to the next step confidently and with a clear head.

To understand impactful design and why it matters so much, I picked up a creative thread in my early years—thanks to a strongly artistic childhood environment—and followed it around until it led me to a bachelor's in painting/graphic arts, and a master's in art history.

Here was a fork in the road: continue on an academic path that would lead to teaching, or follow the designer path. With my primary instinct pointing to making and creating, the choice was a no-brainer. So I picked up my first official logo gig for a friend, and half-excited, half-terrified, went for it.

But most paths are not straight lines, of course. Originally from Iran, I lived in Europe for a few years before landing in the United States, a multi-continental adventure that continues to shape my relationship with art & design.

When not working, I can be found obsessing over house plants, whisking a bowl of matcha, exploring urban or natural areas, and catching favorite shows and movies.
